"Where was Lee McIntyre when I first got into this business?", is what I found myself saying when I first read his newsletter.
As I have mentioned before, I am still a relative newbie to Internet Marketing. I had been at it at least a year and I had yet to make any money to speak of. Oh, I knew how to write, put together nice looking blogs, crop photos and such but I was still hanging on the edge of not knowing what to do to put together the whole package. What to do first, next, etc... What I should place the most emphasis on in building my business. It was like slogging through the mud in the dark.
I had been filling in opt-in boxes and getting e-newsletters from who I know now as the "big guys" or gurus in IM. I thought these guys were some kinda wonderful for a while. They made 10s of thousands of dollars on a single day. It really excited my imagination. I had always heard that if you want to be successful (at anything) you need to copy the one who is successful. So, I bought their stuff and read their newsletters bought their stuff read their ads...
But as time wore on I was getting a bit cynical reading all this, "just find the perfect niche that will make you rich" or "just write an ebook on your favorite subject and you'll get rich" or some such. I cannot deny that I was learning something. Each report taught me a bit more of the puzzle but none of them gave me the whole puzzle! But not enough to do it all.
Then poking around in some archive in the depths of one of these gurus "resources" section led me to a series of treasures. I started "running into" some amazing useful information by marketers that had heart - soul. Treasures in the internet marketing world. Men and women who spoke truth to my business soul. My first acquaintance of this new breed of marketer was Sara Brown (I'll tell you about her later). She was offering this new product, Auction Profits Unleashed package at an amazing price by someone I had never heard of, Lee McIntyre. I trusted Sara from prior experience, so it wasn't hard to buy his e-books.
Oh, what a day when I got his books and also on his newsletter! I devoured the first one and was thrilled as each subsequent edition came. Jammed with freebies that he had gleaned from others he knew or eventually whole FREE books from him - stuff he could very well have charged for. Always a new article that made some aspect of Internet Marketing so much more clear. He was, still is the first marketer that really talked of building relationships in a most upfront way. You couldn't help but catch his enthusiasm.
It is so fun to read through his newsletter as well as his blog. You just feel like you were there sitting across the table with him. His open artless way of communicating both the mundane aspects of IM and the more glamorous aspects, too, are one of a kind.
Lee was the first of the marketers to really blast the big guys by going past them in his product launches. He made sure the regular guy would get his licks in before the hounds devoured the opportunity. He is a champion of the regular guy or gal that is new to this rather tough business. Wants to see us succeed and is willing to give "blood" to do it.
I strain my brain to think of why you wouldn't sign up for something that is free and so cram jammed with real solid advice and inspiration. Even if he charged an annual fee like many others in this business do, it wold still be worth just getting to glean his knowledge about marketing and the Internet and making money online.
It would only take a minute for you to head over and sign up for his free newsletter, so just go there now: http://www.leemcintyrenewsletter.com/
